MAN IN WHEELCHAIR HIT BY CAR

Elyria – A man in his motorized wheelchair, on his way to church, was struck by a car Sunday morning in the intersection of Clark Street & Warren Ave. Witnesses told Police that a woman in a gold colored Concorde hit the man then fled the scene south towards East Broad Street.
The woman was later found about a mile away parked in her driveway.
The victim was flown to MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland.

Please keep us posted on the condition of this man if you can. I've been complaining of the speeding and reckless driving on this street for years. I'm fed up with it.
