FIGHT BREAKS OUT AT CHURCH HALL
Elyria – What started out as a fun evening turned violent after what some party goers call several bad apples showed up and began fighting.
Elyria Police were called to the St. Mary’s reception hall on Middle Ave around 1 a.m. Sunday morning after receiving multiple calls of a large fight inside of the hall with chairs being thrown. When Police arrived they found more than a hundred people running out of the hall and into the parking lot area yelling that they were fighting inside.
Officers broke up several fights outside before regaining control and dispersing the crowd.
Three people arrested at the scene – two for Disorderly Conduct, one adult and one 17 year old male and a third male was arrested on an outstanding warrant for a traffic offense.
The organizer of the private party stated that it all started when several teenagers arrived and began fighting.
There were no injuries reported.
