BACK IN COURT

The “Taser Lady”, Kristina Fretter was back in Lorain Municipal Court today after being charged with Domestic Violence and handling a firearm while intoxicated.

Sheffield Lake Police arrested Fretter after she beat up her boyfriend and babies daddy, Brendon Naylon in their Elmwood Drive home. Naylon told Officers that he fled the home because Fretter was inside loading a shotgun. Officers ordered Fretter out of the home at which time she complied exiting without the shotgun. Police say that the charges could have been more severe but that Fretter was too intoxicated to actually get the shells loaded into the shotgun.

Police noted that Naylon had scratches and bruises on his face. The daughter was inside the home upstairs sleeping during the incident and was not harmed.

For those of you unfamiliar with Fretter she became famous after being arrested by the Sheffield Village Police Department for drunk driving. While in handcuffs inside of the Police Station she was tasered by an Officer who has since resigned from the force. That incident was captured on surveillance camera and was seen around the world, in part thanks to the Chronicle Telegrams YouTube page where the tape has been viewed almost 300,000 times. Thanks to special permission by the Elyria Chronicle Telegram you can view it below.

Fretter was ordered to have no contact with Naylon or their daughter this morning in court. Her case continues to work its way through the judicial system.
