MOTORCYCLE CRASH AT QUAKER STEAK KILLS SHEFFIELD MAN

Sheffield
Village – A 27 year old Sheffield man was killed after crashing his bike at
Quaker Steak & Lube Thursday night.
Authorities
say 27 year old Brad Crawford was driving his 1997 Boss Hog in the parking lot
of Quaker Steak when he lost control and crashed around 10:30.
Police
Officers first on scene found Crawford on the ground with severe head injuries
and a bystander performing CPR. Officers immediately requested a medical
helicopter to the scene. Moments later Firefighters from Sheffield Village Fire
Department arrived and began treating Crawford who sustained massive head
trauma from the crash.
Crawford
was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police
say Crawford was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash and that a
toxicology test will be performed by the Coroner’s Office to determine his
blood alcohol level.
The
crash remains under investigation.
