ATTENTION LORAIN PARTY PEOPLE

Anyone in Lorain who may have consumed too much alcohol on New Year’s Eve and needs transportation may call The Lorain Police Department at 204-2100 and request a ride home.

This service will be provided by The Lorain Police Auxiliary Officers on Friday, 31 Dec 2010 starting at 7:00pm through 3:00am on Saturday, 1 Jan 2011.

The service is from locations within the Lorain City Limits to locations within Lorain. We will not travel outside Lorain and we will ONLY transport persons to their residence, NOT from party to party. Persons who call for this service will only receive transportation to one location.

This is a free service staffed by Lorain Police Auxiliary Officers VOLUNTEERING their time in the interest of public safety. Wait times may exist depending on the volume of calls for this service.
