SHE FAUGHT THE LAW...
...AND THE LAW WON – AGAIN!
Grafton – Representatives from NORD wanted to speak with an elderly Grafton woman late Saturday night; the woman however, didn’t want any part of it. The woman jumped in her car and took off.An Officer from the Grafton Police Department attempted to stop the woman; the woman however, didn’t want any part of that either – so she took off.
The pursuit left Grafton and went through Eaton Township with Deputies from the Lorain County Sheriff’s Department joining in. Deputies were preparing to lay out Stop Sticks in an attempt to stop the woman but were instead able to box her in on Capel Road just east of Route 83.
The driver was taken into custody by the Officer from Grafton and was later taken to Elyria Memorial after complaining of general pains.
You know it’s not good when the Tow Truck driver shows up to hook the car and says; “oh, her again”. This was at least her third high-speed chase with Police Officers. The Police of course have held onto their undefeated record in being able to bring the pursuits to a safe conclusion and her in custody.
