ALL OVER A GIRL
Sheffield Township – The Lorain County Sheriff’s Department was dispatched to a crash on Bond Street in Sheffield Township early Saturday morning after a man drove recklessly through the quiet neighborhood crashing into a large concrete block.
The driver of the Ford Focus left the scene in a Jeep but Deputies were able to catch up to him at the intersection of Route 254 and Route 57.
Deputies returned the man to the scene of the crash where they had Sheffield Township Fire Department respond to take care of the driver’s injuries. Firefighters treated the man and transported him to Elyria Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Neighbors who witnessed the incident said the man did it because he was “upset and looking for ex girlfriend”.
The Lorain County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the crash.
