NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER CELEBRATED

Amherst – Thursday was National Day of Prayer and it was celebrated by a number of Churches that came together in downtown Amherst.

Various Pastors lead the group in prayer in front of Amherst City Hall at Noon on Thursday. The prayers were then followed by Amazing Grace performed by Jason Gilbert of Great Lakes Church.


The group then walked about a mile around the downtown area while praying.


Similar event were held around Lorain County and around the country.
