LORAIN MAN DIES IN HOUSE FIRE
Lorain – One man is dead and two other homeless after an early morning fire on West 21st Street in Lorain.
Firefighters were called to the home of 65 year old Norman Fye at 1513 West 21st Street just after 2 a.m. Monday morning for a report of a house fire. Firefighters found heavy fire coming from the home.

Fye was found inside of the home on a couch after Firefighters forced their way through a security door at the back of the house. Fye was pulled from a couch in the home and brought to the back yard where LifeCare Paramedics took over patient care. Fye was then rushed to Community Health Partners Emergency Room where he was pronounced dead.
Two other adults lived in the home and were being assisted by the Lorain County Chapter of the American Red Cross.
The Lorain Fire Department and State Fire Marshall’s Office are investigating the cause of the fire.
