LORAIN COUNTY TOPS OVI LIST

Columbus – As Ohio motorists begin planning for the upcoming Christmas and New Year’s holiday weekends, the Ohio State Highway Patrol released its “Top 10” Ohio Counties for OVI Stops made by State Troopers, and Felony OVI cases by State Troopers.

Lorain County made into both lists, coming in Number 5 on the Stops list and came in Number 1 for Felony OVI Cases made by the Patrol (Suspects with 4 or more convictions).

Through November of this year, state troopers have made 22,925 OVI arrests on Ohio’s roadways. Including all of last year and through Nov. 30, of this year, troopers also arrested and removed 594 impaired drivers with four or more OVI convictions.
