IN NEED OF A HELPING HAND

The City of Amherst Office on Aging currently delivers noon-time meals to approximately 40 residents of Amherst. Most of these people are home-bound. All have needs either because of medical problems or simply because of their age. We usually divide our deliveries into four routes of approximately 10 clients. The delivery of meals takes less than one hour.
