MAN FLOWN AFTER CRASH ON 113
Elyria Township – A motorcyclist was injured Monday evening after he collided with a car at the intersection of Route 113 and West Ridge Road.
Troopers say the 32-year-old man was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
Elyria Township Firefighters treated the man at the scene and then transported him to the Lorain County Airport where patient care was transferred to the Metro LifeFlight Medical Team. He was then flown to MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland.
Troopers say the motorcycle was traveling north on West Ridge Road and was crossing 113 when a car traveling south on West Ridge made a left turn onto 113 striking the bike.
Troopers say the driver of the car will be charged with Failure to Yield a Left Turn.
