Now we'll never know what was going through this person's mind when he drove like he did, although I'm willing to bet that the toxicology report on this person will give a good clue.

What a waste....

Regardless of the cause, Mr. Spencer's family is grieving for the loss of his life and I am sure appalled by the whole situation.
My sympathies are with his family and with the family of the young lady who died in the other car. Patsy

Anonymous said, " what a wast". Patsy said "My sympathies are with his and her familes", Let us not forget the dozen or so rescuers that reponded and tried to do their best to save both lives. Being one, I know it takes its toll on each and everyone of them. My heart also goes out to them!!!Let us not forget the people that come to your rescue, no mater how little or big it is. God bless them all.......Randy

My sympathies to Mr Spencers family and the family of the young lady as well. This is a terrible tragedy. Peace be with them all. How awful to have this happen so close to Christmas? The good Lord will watch over them. I hope they find some comfort in his love.

This is in response to Randy:
Randy, my intention was not to ignore the Emergency crews that responded to this call. I am always thanking God for Emergency Crews (I personally have dealt with many of them) and I am always praying for Emergency Crews in all walks of life, for their physical and mental safety. Thats a fact!
My intention was to point out that although Mr. Spencer was responsible for the death of another person due to poor choices that he made, his family and the family of the young lady are suffering a tragic set of losses. He paid the ultimate price for his mistake and is dealing with a higher judge than you or I or anyone else on Earth.
His family had nothing to do with the choices that Mr. Spencer made and should be held in our thoughts and prayers. Patsy
Terry, I have attempted to keep my religious beliefs seperate from my comments on your site because I did not want anyone to feel as if I was preaching. I'm sorry but this time I felt as if I had to go there.. Patsy
