PETRIC TO BE TRIED AS ADULT

Daniel Petric was back in court today for a probable cause hearing. Petric’s Attorney told the Judge in court that his client would be willing to plead guilty in the juvenile court to the charges related to the shootings in an attempt to keep him out of the adult system.

The Judge refused the request and Petric now heads to Lorain County Common Pleas Court where he will be tried as an adult for shooting his parents. Petric’s mother, Sue Petric died at the home while his father still remains in MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland in good condition.

The Judge also ordered a psychological evaluation for Petric and although Prosecutors asked for a five million dollar bond the Judge set it at one million cash or surety.

what does the amount of the bond matter. usually when you are in a situation like this your parents would believe in you enough to bail you out. i belive he may have ruined that "bond" with his parents when he shot them. he has already admitted to the gruesome act that he commited. why even waste tax payer dollars on a trial for this worthless human being. lock him up and throw away the key. if i was the prosecutor i would recommend the death penalty.
