WEATHER ALERT

The National Weather Service has issued a “HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK” for Lorain County and North Central, Northeast and Northwest Ohio.

A strong cold front is due to move through the area Tuesday afternoon. The cold front is bringing along its friends Scattered Rain Showers and Gusty Winds (up to 35mph). Rain and the dreaded S word, Snow mix is expected overnight. Stronger sustained winds gusting up to 40mph are possible Tuesday night.

No relief on Wednesday as a secondary front will move through on Wednesday with the nasty rain/snow mix possible through the end of the week.

As you think about the “HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK”, remember what we have to look forward to in the coming months. I just hope that Good Samaritan Bruce Bishop, seen in the photo above helping a total stranger on Livermore in Elyria during last years huge snow storm, has his gloves and tow straps in his car.

Good Lord they've come up with a new weather term to scare the hell out of everyone again. Did Jeff Tanchek come up with it? Oh god no! Not a HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK! Quick everyone, run into your basements and hid. Hey it's late autumn in northern Ohio you idiots. What do you think it's going to be like? Haas
