ROLL OVER ON WEST ERIE

Jim Dennis was enjoying a smoke break outside of Yanni’s Restaurant on West Erie Ave in Lorain Saturday afternoon when he heard the sounds of tires skidding.

“I was standing outside here with Doc and when I heard the squealing tires I turned around real quick and saw this car coming across the road and it crashed right into the pole.”

Dennis said that after the crash he watched as the driver crawled out of the car through the passenger side window and stumbled to the parking lot of the Castle Restaurant next door.

LifeCare Paramedics and Lorain Firefighters responded but the driver refused any treatment or transport to the hospital.

The Lorain Police Department is investigating the crash.
