TRAGEDY STRIKES WELLINGTON

Tragedy strikes the city of Wellington as a high school student dies in a car accident last night. Terry Haynes, 16, died when his Ford Focus crossed lanes around 7:30 last night and went head on into a semi. Haynes was heading west on Rt. 18 after just leaving his girlfriends home in Penfield on his way back home in Wellington. Shortly after turning onto Rt. 18 his car crossed lanes and collided with the semi. Haynes was pronounced dead from his injuries at the scene. Officials do not suspect alcohol or drugs at this time. The driver of the semi was treated for minor injuries. The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.

On his MySpace page, Haynes displays two countdown graphics, one for his graduation and the other for his 18th birthday. As of today, it showed 573 days till graduation and 455 days till his 18th birthday
