QUICK NOTE
A quick note to our readers more specifically to those who leave comments to our stories:
For the most part the comments have been very sincere and thoughtful and in some cases, thought provoking. I have said all along that TMC NEWS will not censor your opinions when commenting on stories, unless the comment is merely an attempt to take a cheap shot at someone. I have only had to delete three comments since TMC NEWS went online. Tonight I was noticed a comment was left to our story about the former Lorain Safety Director Craig Miller sentencing. The story drew a lot of comments, mostly heated but respectful and sincere. The comment that was left last night took a cheap personal shot at Judge Christopher Rothgery and of course was not signed. That post was removed as soon as I discovered it.
The comments section has become one of the favorite parts of TMC NEWS and I would like to keep it alive. If cheap, personal attacks continue however, we will have to have a system where readers wishing to leave comments have to do so by signing their names or have their comment deleted. Come on people; let's not turn this site into a junior Lorain County.com bitch site, let's take a higher road.

Perhaps if you don't want your readers to take cheap shots, you should set the example and not take cheap shots at rival Web sites in your posts.
TMC NEWS has no problems with a negative posting on our site. The Craig Miller Sentencing story drew a lot of negative comments about the Judge in the case and we did not delete any of those comments because they were mainly about how the Judge sentenced Mr. Miller and we found most to be sincere, very negative, but sincere. When we noticed the last posting from an anonymous poster taking a cheap, personal shot at the Judge, we removed it. Our comment about not wanting the comment section here to become a junior Lorain County.com bitch site, well come on, tell me it’s not. Also, LC.com is not a rival site. LC.com serves a great purpose and is a great resource for our community. It's only the community forum section that we were refering to.
Anonymous posters here will be looked at very carefully and removed quickly if they cross a line.

yea and you said bitch. so I'm guessing cussing is encouraged?
Encouraged? No. However, if someone posts a comment with a "cuss" word it will not be deleted. If you are too sensitive where "cuss" words offend you, then might I suggest you not logon TMC NEWS in the future.
PS: I love the name you picked. Funny as hell.... I mean funny as heck.
