EARLY MORNING HOUSE FIRE

An early morning fire at a residence in State Route 20 in Oberlin engulfed the home. The home that sits way back off of the road had flames shooting high into the air as the local fire department fought the blaze. Tankers had to be called in from surrounding communities to assist in supplying water to the Firefighters. Tankers came from Wellington Fire District, South Amherst Fire and Carlisle Township Fire Department.

The cause of the blaze will be under investigation.

Was the home occupied at the time? Did EMS take care of anyone?

TMC... Again some excellent work. like the last poster, I'm curious if this house was empty like some of the other "mysterious" fires in the county of late.
I'm shamed that I don't have the motivation to chase this stuff as often as you do.... you da man TMC

Even without the info the 2 previous posters refer to (and I'm curious also!) TMC has more info than Chronicle's online version: NONE

Well you must have got there before i did with my fire department because we didn't get to see as much fire as you got on your pictures. I'm also curious about whether or not the houses were occupied.
