MONDAY CAR CRASHES

Two car crashes today, one in Lorain at Leavitt Road and West 40th Street. Three people were transported by LifeCare Ambulance Paramedics to Community Health Partners from that crash where an SUV rear ended a car at the stop light sending the SUV into the front yard of a local church. Lorain Police Traffic Division is investigating the cause of that crash.

The second crash, a single car roll over, was on Baumhart Road just south of Garfield Road. One victim was transported by Central Lorain County Ambulance District to Allen Medical Center from that crash. The victim’s boyfriend who went to the crash site at the request of the victim said that she was fine and was transported just to get checked out. He told TMC NEWS that she was driving northbound on Baumhart and the last thing she remembered was looking in the mirror. He said that after the car rolled onto its top she crawled out through the back window. Vaughn’s Towing Service, like a surgeon, rolled the vehicle back onto its wheels. Ok, maybe not like a surgeon but they are good at what they do
