Amherst – Rescue crews were kept busy Friday afternoon after three cars collided on Leavitt Road and Park Ave.

Firefighters and Paramedics had to fan out to assess and treat the victims from the crash. In total five people were taken to Amherst and Community Health Partners Emergency Rooms for non life threatening injuries.

Police in Amherst were busy piecing together the events leading up to the crash when they received a call of another crash on Cooper Foster Park Road involving two trucks.
