TRUCK ROLLS – TRAPS WOMAN

Elyria Township – One woman was trapped underneath an overturned Ford F-150 Thursday evening after a single vehicle crash on an Ohio Turnpike ramp.
Firefighters from Elyria Township and Amherst had to free a 28-year-old woman for the Paramedics. The woman had cuts and bruises but appeared not to have any life threatening injuries. LifeCare Ambulance transported her to Elyria Memorial Hospital where she was later flown to MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland.

Firefighters say the truck had just left the tollbooth at gate 8a (142.5 Mile Marker) and was on the entrance ramp when they struck a guardrail – the driver overcorrected and rolled the truck.
