THEM OREO’S SURE TASTE FUNNY
Elyria – Practical jokes were played around the world two days ago with it being April Fool’s Day – one joke locally didn’t play well however.
A complaint was filed with the Elyria Police Department after a female student brought Oreo cookies to school and past them out to her classmates. What her fellow students didn’t know was that the night before her and her stepfather had taken the cream filling out of the cookies and replaced it with toothpaste.
When one of the students fell ill and the joke was revealed – a parent filed a complaint.
Police spoke with the parent and then made contact with the Principal at McKinley. The Principal told Police that he had spoken with the parent about the incident. He also stated that the child who fell ill said “he was feeling a little sick but felt better later and did go to lunch.”
The Principal also advised that other parents laughed about this because it was April Fool’s Day.
