THAT’S WHAT BUSES DO

Wellington – A rear ender in Wellington Tuesday afternoon involving a car and Lorain County Transit Bus sent one person to the hospital with non-critical injuries.

The victim was treated and transported by Paramedics from Southern Lorain County Ambulance District.

The Wellington Police Department is investigating the crash.

The crash gives us an opportunity to remind you that buses make frequent stops to allow people to enter and exit. PAY ATTENTION and stay a safe distance from the bus ahead of you. Are the multiple stops annoying, especially during the middle of the day, YES! But just imagine how annoying the trip to Muny Court to pay your fines will be – not to mention a trip to the Emergency Room.
