LARGE TREE FALLS ON CAR

TRAPS WOMAN INSIDE FOR AN HOUR
DEVELOPING STORY
Lorain – A Lorain woman was heading home from work Sunday afternoon when a large tree fell on her car – pinning her inside.

The green vest one of the lifecare paramedics is wearing blends in with the vegitation of the tree leaves.

Thank god he wasn't cut by one of the chain saws. I can hardly see him standing near the tree in the pictures.

I have read that the vests are manditory on all highways. I wonder what the policy is for residential streets. I'm just happy a tragic event like this didn't get any worse by the medic wearing the vest being sliced with a saw.

Hopefully lifecare will look into this event. I am a big believer in safety of the fine men and women who help us everday. But this just seems ridiculous to me.

Bravo to the paramedic not wearing the vest. He is easily recognizable and visable wearing blue in a sea of green.

Safety not stupidty.

damn... that is a BIGASS tree!

I couldnt imagine how crazy that would be. It kinda reminds me of Jurassic Park for some odd reason...

But, glad to see that the woman was ok.
