AMBULANCE REAR ENDED

Elyria – An ambulance crew on their way to pick up a patient for a routine transport had to put those plans on hold after they were struck from behind on Route 57.

The LifeCare Ambulance crew was on Route 57 stopped at the traffic near Bell Ave when they were rear ended by a pick up truck.

The collision was low speed and neither of the Paramedics or the driver of the pick up reported any injuries.

On a note from the comments the other day....look at the first picture and notice the difference between the visibility of the vest and the person without a vest. That's why they are so important, and that is during the day!!
