SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING

UPDATE: 5:05PM
At 5:00PM The National Weather Service in Cleveland has extended the SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING for Southwestern Lorain County until 6PM.


The National Weather Service in Cleveland has also issued an Urban and Small Stream FLOOD ADVISORY for Minor Flooding of poor drainage areas in Lorain County.

Radar indicated that 1 to 2 inches of rainfall has occurred with Thunderstorms moving across Lorain and Western Medina Counties. Additional rainfall amounts in excess of 1 inch may occur which could lead to street flooding in poor drainage areas.

The National Weather Service in Cleveland has issued a SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING at 4:23PM for Lorain County.

Doppler radar indicated a severe Thunderstorm capable of producing nickel size hail and damaging winds in excess of 60MPH.
