ELYRIA TOWNSHIP CRASH

A two-car crash in Elyria Township Saturday afternoon sent one child with his mother to the hospital.
Elyria Township Fire Department Assistant Chief Brian Bell said that the injuries to the child were not serious but he would be checked out at Elyria Memorial Hospital. The Mustang was crossing Lake Ave when it was struck head on. No other injuries were reported.
