CRASH IN EATON SENDS 3 TO EMH

A crash at the intersection of Route 82 & Route 83 sent three people to Elyria Memorial Hospital Saturday night.

Eaton Township Fire Chief Phil Slack said that the crash occurred just after 10pm when an SUV rear-ended a motorcycle that was sitting at the traffic light on Route 83 in the northbound lane. The collision sent the two people off the bike and the bike into the minivan ahead of it. The driver and passenger of the motorcycle were treated by Eaton Township and transported to Elyria Memorial Hospital. Grafton Village Fire Department provided mutual aid assistance to Eaton Township by transporting the driver of the SUV to Elyria Memorial. None of the passengers in the minivan received any injuries.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
