Dulley and his passenger were both able to get out of the car on their own before Firefighters arrived according to Chief James Rader of LaGrange Fire & Rescue. BBBB was treated at the scene and transported to Allen Community Hospital with minor injuries and although the passenger had a couple bumps on his head and face he refused all treatment at the scene.
Toth said that Dulley was following his cousin at a high rate of speed and was only one car length behind. The cousin was able to avoid the car because he had a better visual but with Dulley so close behind he did not see it until the last second. The two told Troopers that they were racing and doing speeds in excess of 60 mph. Neighbors who heard and saw the cars estimate the speeds closer to 90 mph.
Dulley was charged with Reckless Operation.
