As you leave work and head home tonight remember that we are under a LAKE EFFECT SNOW WARNING until MIDNIGHT – take your time as road conditions will surely be dangerous in spots.

The driver of this van found that out Wednesday morning as he was driving south on Route 57 in Elyria Township. Firefighters from Elyria Township say the man began to lose control of the van and then went off the right side of the road. The van struck a snowdrift, which caused the van to roll over onto its side blocking one lane of traffic. A woman driving behind the van had to swerve to miss striking the van and she also ran into a snowdrift.

Both drivers were uninjured and refused any treatment or transport.

The Ohio State Patrol is investigating the crash.
