WEATHER ALERT - BLIZZARD WATCH

The National Weather Service in Cleveland has now added a BLIZZARD WATCH for our area. The watch goes into effect at 4AM Saturday morning and will run through until midnight Saturday.

Gusty northerly winds between 20 and 30 MPH will accompany the storm that is hitting our area this weekend. Blizzard conditions are possible Saturday as winds may increase to 30 to 40 MPH across the area.

Tonight: Periods of snow with widespread blowing snow. Low around 23. Blustery, with a north wind between 24 and 28 mph, with gusts as high as 39 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. Total nighttime snow accumulation of 3 to 5 inches possible.

Saturday: Periods of snow with widespread blowing snow. High near 24. Blustery, with a north wind between 28 and 30 mph, with gusts as high as 41 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 3 to 7 inches possible.

Saturday Night: Periods of snow with widespread blowing snow, mainly before 1am. Low around 14. Wind chill values as low as -1. Blustery, with a west wind between 17 and 25 mph, with gusts as high as 36 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New snow accumulation of around an inch possible.

Sunday: Widespread blowing snow. Partly sunny, with a high near 27. Wind chill values as low as -1. West wind between 8 and 16 mph.
