WAS HIS STORY A BIG FAT LIE?
Lorain – Moments after a car crashed onto the front porch of a Clifton Ave home in Lorain, killing one man and sending another by helicopter to Cleveland, 32 year old Benjamin Bellisario of Eaton Township told the cops and the media of a horrific ordeal that he had gone through that night.
Bellisario claimed to have been kidnapped at knife point and made to drive around the city of Lorain while his passenger made multiple drug deals. Bellisario said that after time had passed he feared for his life and when the passenger tried to get out of the truck with his wallet he grabbed for it and was cut with the knife.
After an extensive investigation by the Lorain Police Department they now say Bellisario lied and the case against him is on the way to the Grand Jury. Bellisario could face charges of obstructing, falsification and inducing panic. Since the incident Bellisario has admitted to Officers that the injury he sustained was and accidental injury.

So, what was the truth then?
Drug deal gone bad?
Road Rage?
Pure Stupidity?
Trying to get someone else in trouble?
I thought the story was false the second I read it! I hope he gets the punishment he deserves.
I'm guessing on drug deal gone bad, but any or all of the possibilities anonymous mentioned probably fit the case. According to one report, after the crash he was yelling at the people in the car that he wanted his money back. That's showing a lot of compassion. The Lorain PD detectives probably had a field day guessing what parts (if any) of his original story were true. I'm fairly sure there's more to this story yet to come out.
