FLOOD WARNING ISSUED
The National Weather Service in Cleveland has issued a FLOOD WARNING for the Black River at Elyria until late Thursday night.
Flood stage begins at 9.5 feet for the Black River at Elyria, at 10 A.M. Friday morning the river was at 10.8 feet and rising. The River is expected to rise above flood stage today and crest around 11.5 and 12 feet this afternoon.
Flooding begins in low-lying areas near the river in Elyria at 11.5 feet. Flooding begins south of Elyria in Carlisle Township at 9.5 feet.
