CONVERTIBLE ROLLS OVER

Carlisle Township – Carlisle Township Firefighters and LifeCare Paramedics responded to Russia Road, just east of West Ridge Road Monday afternoon after a convertible crashed and rolled over in a ditch.
As Firefighters arrived they found one of the passenger outside of the car but the driver was still in the overturned car. Firefighters crawled inside and secured her onto a backboard then extricated her from underneath the vehicle to the awaiting Paramedics.

The car was westbound on Russia when the driver diverted her attention from the road in an attempt to retrieve something from the floor of the car. She went off the road and into the ditch then struck a pole before rolling over

The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.

this happens all the time with teenage girls. makeup, cell phone, stuff like that. they need to realize the dangers of the road and keep their eyes on it instead of on their floor worrying about their boyfriend calling them on the cell or putting on makeup
