HANG ONTO THE HATS TODAY

The National Weather Service in Cleveland has issued a HIGH WIND WATCH for Northeast, Northwest and North Central Ohio.

The watch is in effect from Tuesday morning through late Tuesday night as gusty southwest winds will increase ahead of an approaching cold front. The National Weather Service is forecasting winds to be between 20 to 35 mph with gusts approaching 60 mph at times. The strongest winds are expected during the afternoon hours.

Showers and Thunderstorms are likely in the afternoon through the evening hours with rainfall amounts being around an inch or so.

So tighten up the chinstraps on your hats and tie down the lawn furniture. That is if for some reason you have lawn furniture out in the middle of winter.

I was wondering in my sarcastic weather way why they put out a wind warning? Are we suppose to do something when they say that? Do we really need a warning to hold onto our hats or let us know when it's windy? I guess maybe we shouldn't notice the wind unless it's "official". Haas

Haas, I'm guessing it would be a way of letting you know to maybe bring in your Halloween decorations if it was in Oct., time to bring in the lighter items or things you don't want the neighbors to now own.
