FOUR INJURED IN E 28th ST CRASH

ONE TRAPPED / TWO FLOWN TO METRO
Lorain Police were just cleaning up the remnants from a two car crash in the 1900 block of East 28th when the call came in for a single car crash just blocks away.

Witnesses say the car was traveling westbound about 40mph when it just slid off the north side of East 28th Street across from the Lorain Post Office. The car went up onto the sidewalk and crashed into a utility pole and fence. There were four people inside the car at the time of the crash, two were out of the car as Police arrived and the driver was attempting to get out. The passenger was trapped inside the vehicle needing Lorain Firefighters to cut the roof off to allow LifeCare Paramedics to safely remove her from the wrecked car.

LifeCare had four ambulances on scene to treat and transport all four victims to Community Health Partners where two of the four were flown to MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland. Their conditions were not available at the time of this posting.
