SEAT BELTS NOT INCLUDED

For all of those who are still driving their pick up trucks that were built in 1974, watch out for people pulling out in front of you, you have no seatbelts in your truck.

This is what happened Saturday afternoon in Carlisle Township on Oberlin-Elyria Road and Russia Road. The driver of the ’74 pick up was traveling south on Oberlin-Elyria when the driver of a Silverado 2500HD pulled out in front of in front of him from Russia Road in an attempt to make a left turn onto Oberlin-Elyria.

The crash sent both trucks spinning and with no seat belts the driver of the Ford smacked his head on the windshield cracking it. (The windshield that is) LifeCare transported him to Elyria Memorial for further evaluation and treatment.
