ONE LESS VACANT STOREFRONT

Iyad Almukdad, owner of Graphic Signs located in downtown Elyria, was spotted Monday afternoon lettering the storefront windows next to Loomis Camera on Broad Street.

Moving into the building is Professional Protective Services, a protection and investigative services company. Ron Flemming who moved here from Sullivan Ohio said that he is happy to be making the move into downtown Elyria. Flemming’s company has held the security contract for Colonial Oaks Mobile Home Park for quite awhile so Flemming said he is no stranger to the city and is anxious to take on more contracts with the move into Elyria.

Almukdad, who also recently purchased the Robinson building, said that he is thrilled to see the new company chose Elyria and his storefront as their new home. “This is great for the city anytime new businesses move in, it is another great step for downtown.”
