HOME INVASION SUSPECTS CAPTURED

KUDOS to the Lorain Police Department and the members of the Lorain County Division of the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force for taking the two suspects, of the horrific home invasion in Lorain, off the streets.

The two Lorain men, 26-year-old Kenneth Sturgill and 26-year-old George Houle, are accused of forcing their way into a home on East Erie Ave in Lorain on July 27th. During their stay in the home they terrorized a 21-year-old male and his 21-year-old wife while their 2-year-old child slept in another room.

The two men allegedly beat the male victim and tied him up, then made him watch as they tied up his wife and took turns sexually assaulting her. Before leaving the men stole money and various other items of value from the home.

Kenneth Sturgill was arrested Friday morning on a secret indictment for kidnapping, aggravated robbery, felonious assault and rape. Sturgill remains in the Lorain County Jail on a $125.000 bond.

George Houle was arrested on an indictment for kidnapping, felonious assault, rape and aggravated burglary. Houle has since been released from jail.

With violent crimes against victoms such as assult, rape, and kidnapping, I would have expected a much higher bond. How safe are the victoms until this goes to trial and they will probably need to testify. Another example of the rights of the criminals being more important that the rights of the victoms.

I'm a firm believer in what goes around, comes around. My heart goes out to the married couple that will have to carry the burden and scars of this ordeal. My prayer is they heal emotionally and physically as soon as possible. C

I am a close friend of both victims. The whole ordeal has been a nightmare, not only for them but for everyone close to them.
All the fear, rage, torment, loss, and anger these two losers caused is one for the books. These monkeys deserve everything thats comin to em and more!
Let's pray that justice prevails in this case, and the maximum sentence be implemented.
