SHOOTING AT BENKO'S

Elyria Police, LifeCare Ambulance and Elyria Fire Department responded to Benko's Driving Range at 10364 Middle Ave for a report of a shooting. Officials arrived at the Benko home, that sits on the same property as the Driving Range and found a male had been shot. LifeCare Ambulance Paramedics transported the victim to Elyria Memorial Hospital where the victim was later taken by helicopter to Cleveland Metro Trauma Center. No further details were available at posting time.
