EATON TOWNSHIP HOUSE FIRE

Eaton Township Fire Department responded to a report of a house fire on North Island Road this morning. When they arrived they saw heavy smoke coming from the second floor and immediately requested mutual aid from Columbia Township, Grafton Township and North Ridgeville. Firefighters quickly knocked down the fire with no report of injuries.

SIDE NOTE: When responding to this fire Eaton Township made sure that along with the hoses and other necessary equipment, they had a truck load of bottled water and gatorade for the men and women fighting the fire.
