NOT GUILTY OF ATTEMPTED MURDER

BREAKING NEWS
The Jury returns with not guilty of attempted murder but guilty of felonious assault against 84-year-old Paul Hashman.

Hashman has claimed all along that he shot his neighbor, Darrell Oskins, in self-defense. The prosecution during closing arguments argued that Hashman “intended to execute Oskins”. Defense attorney Michael Duff claimed that Oskins was trying to run down his client with a snow blower so his client had to shoot Oskins to protect himself.

All this took place back in January of 2004. Since then Hashman has sat in jail and Oskins continues his recovery from being shot 6 times with a .22 caliber handgun.
