DRIVER STRIKES HOUSE ON IRONDALE

Elyria – An Elyria woman was transported to Elyria Memorial with minor injuries Sunday after she drove into the front of a home on Irondale.


Police say 24 year old Toshia Killings of Elyria was pulling out of a driveway Sunday afternoon and failed to control the vehicle as it went across the street and struck the front of 563 Irondale, an unoccupied home.


The crash brought down the porch including the porch roof. Killings was able to back the car up and had it parked on the roadway before Police arrived on scene.


Killings first refused treatment or transport from LifeCare Paramedics but then decided to go to be evaluated.


Killings was charged with Driving Under Suspension and Failure to Control.
