WINTER STORM WARNING UPDATE

The WINTER STORM WARNING for LAKE EFFECT SNOW SHOWERS and BLOWING SNOW remains in effect until 7am Wednesday.

National Weather Service forecast for the next 48 hours:
Late Afternoon: Snow showers and widespread blowing snow. High near 19. Wind chill values as low as -2. Windy, with a northwest wind around 26 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. Total daytime snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches possible.

Tonight: Snow showers and widespread blowing snow. The snow could be heavy at times. Low around 13. Wind chill values as low as -4. Windy, with a northwest wind between 20 and 26 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.

Tuesday: Widespread blowing snow before noon, then snow showers likely after noon. Cloudy, with a high near 23. Wind chill values as low as -7. Blustery, with a northwest wind between 20 and 24 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

Tuesday Night: A chance of snow showers. Cloudy, with a low around 11. Wind chill values as low as -5. Breezy, with a west wind between 15 and 23 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%.
