Great Lakes Church invites everyone to join them on the 4th of July for their “Celebrate Freedom Service” that will be held at the Amherst Steele High School Football Stadium.

The service will be from 11 a.m. to noon and will feature the GLC Worship Band “All Things New” and the Amherst Community Choir. Featured speaker will be Army Colonel Willie Ailstock.

“This is a great opportunity to invite neighbors and friends to a very special event,” said Pastor Rich Johnson. “We’d also like to invite people to come early for some donuts and fellowship.”

Nine local churches will be canceling their services and joining the “Celebrate Freedom Service.”

Those attending are asked to park in the Amherst High School’s south parking lot near the main entrance to the stadium.
