FIGHTS BREAK OUT AT DOLCE

Elyria – The newly opened Club Dolce located at the site of the old Whiskey Ranch on Griswold Road has had its share of problems since opening just a couple weeks ago – early Saturday morning was no exception.

While patrons were leaving the club through the front doors a fight broke out which then sparked other fights in the parking lot. Elyria Police Officers quickly swept in to take control of the situation but were out numbered so assistance from the Lorain County Sheriff’s Department and the Ohio State Highway Patrol was requested. North Ridgeville Police Officers also responded into the city to help cover calls and to back up Elyria Police Officers at other scenes.

Once things were cleared at Dolce Police, Deputies and Troopers headed to Speedway on Griswold and to Denny’s across the bridge for other disturbances.

One man was arrested at Dolce during the disturbance and even though people were leaving with bloody faces nobody requested an ambulance for treatment.
