VICTIM DIES FROM CAR CRASH

Camden Township – The elderly woman that ran a flashing stop light Sunday afternoon died from her injuries today around noon at MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland.

Lorraine Holzapfel, 88, of Oberlin, suffered head injuries and other internal injuries during the crash. She was first taken to Allen Community Emergency Room for treatment. Holzapfel was later transported by ground with a LifeFlight Crew on board to MetroHealth because due to weather conditions Metro LifeFlight was not flying.
