WEATHER ALERT

UPDATE: Friday 10:00am
A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY remains in effect until 10 PM this evening.

Snow will continue today. Northwest winds will average 15 to 20 MPH with gusts to 30 MPH. Blowing and drifting snow will be a problem, mainly in the open countryside.

By late this evening snowfall totals for the storm will range from 4 to 8 inches with a few locally higher amounts possible.

This Afternoon: Snow and widespread blowing snow. High near 28. Blustery, with a northwest wind around 21 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. Total daytime snow accumulation of 3 to 7 inches possible.

Tonight: Occasional snow showers. Low around 24. Northwest wind between 10 and 17 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.

Saturday: Occasional snow showers. High near 33. North wind between 10 and 14 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.

Saturday Night: Scattered snow showers. Cloudy, with a low around 27. Northwest wind between 10 and 13 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%.

WEATHER UPDATE: 3:25 PM
The National Weather Service in Cleveland has updated the Winter Storm WATCH to a WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY.

The Winter Weather Advisory will remain in effect until 10 p.m. Friday.

Snow will occur tonight into Friday evening with some blowing and drifting snow developing. The winds may gust to 30 MPH at times.

By late Friday evening snowfall totals will range from 4 to 8 inches with some locally higher amounts.
