PRESIDENT TO VISIT LORAIN COUNTY
Washington DC – In a press briefing this afternoon, White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs announced that President Barack Obama will be visiting Lorain County on Friday, January 22nd.
Gibbs announced the visit at the beginning of the Tuesday afternoon briefing with the White House Press Corps. “Before we get started with a few questions here let me just make one quick scheduling announcement. The President will travel to Lorain County in Ohio on Friday, January 22nd, the next stop on the White House to Main Street tour. During the visit, President Obama will meet with Ohio workers, local CEOs, small business owners, and other local leaders about ideas for continuing to grow the economy and put Americans back to work.”
It is obvious that the White House Press Corps is not too familiar with our area as the first question after the announcement was, “Sorry, we didn’t understand the county.” Gibbs reiterated Lorain County in Ohio.
Specific locations throughout the County will be announced at a later date.

And how about some small business loans or grants for unemployed people like me because I want to start a small business. I would hire people if it works out.
How about 7 years of no/low taxes like what is given to people that just move here from other countries and start businesses.
Put us Americans back to work!
Hes the president hes supposed to be out shaking hands and kissing babies. Why waste the money on the city when you have stupid people like stand up Elyria that waste all of the cities money anyways. You wanna talk about wasting money lets talk about the $48,000.00 that they wasted. Stand up Elyria was so concerned about saving all the fire jobs when they could have been using that money for the fire dept. Its funny how prior to this recall election they couldn't get enough publicity, but now that they lost they seemed to have crawled back into the gutter they came from. If they really cared about the city they should stand up for their actions and give back the $48,000.00
